Key Benefits

  • Incorporate latest library components
  • Utilise new ABE features

Overview

Version Migration New versions of Aspen Basic Engineering (ABE) often include changes to the many standard library components. These include the underlying datamodel, datasheets, symbols and knowledge bases.

Typically a customers workspace will be based on versions of the standard library components with customer specific modifications. To take full advantage of the new version of ABE it is often necessary to incorporate any updates to the standard library components into the customers library files.

From datamodel changes through to re-writing scripted knowledge bases into the latest .net compiled versions, IPPD have extensive experience incorporating library updates into customers libraries.

In addition, updating of ABE library components may impact existing workspaces. In order to ensure workspaces can be migrated to the new version, IPPD have the expertise to modify the workspace outside of the ABE environment to ensure it can be loaded, into the latest ABE version, error-free.
